Our Strategy
1. PROVIDE EMPOWERING LEADERSHIP: Our most important task is to help believers develop greater degrees of empowerment already given to them by God: to equip, support, motivate and mentor every individual to become all God has uniquely called them to be.
2. PURSUE NEED-ORIENTED EVANGELISM: Evangelism simply means to share the Good News of God’s love through Jesus Christ. We have come to know that the best way to present this message is by discovering and meeting the needs of non-believers, seekers and the unchurched. When we meet a person’s needs, that person will readily accept the Christ who meets all their needs. People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.
3. CELEBRATE GIFT-ORIENTED MINISTRY: Because God has already determined which believers should best assume which ministries in and through the local church body, it is our role to help each member identify their gifts and find their ministry. When living according to giftedness, the Holy Spirit works through us to accomplish extraordinary things for God.
4. CREATE FLEXIBLE FUNCTIONAL STRUCTURES: We specifically choose and determine to ensure that forms, structures, methods and systems serve the vision of our church and remain relevant to our age. We will never limit God’s ability by serving structures. They are a means to an end and therefore will be biblical and flexible. We refuse to be bound by tradition and choose to remain driven by purpose.
5. DEMONSTRATE SPIRITUAL PASSION: It is our privilege to live in relationship with Jesus Christ and to express our faith in practical everyday ways. We have a responsibility to walk out our love for God with commitment, fervor, and enthusiasm and we avoid any concepts or methods which choke our spiritual passion.
6. DEVELOP HOLISTIC SMALL GROUPS: We understand the New Testament church was successful because they learned to do life together God’s way in Small Groups. Small Groups are made up of believers with common needs and interests, where individuals can find intimate community, practical help and intense spiritual interaction. Small groups are also where people learn biblical truths and its daily practical application. Small groups are not a nice but dispensable program: they are the very essence of the true life of the church, to meet every need of all believers.
7. EMBRACE LOVING RELATIONSHIPS: As the Body of Christ, it is our mandate to raise the measure of everyone’s “love quotient”. Love has to be real and unconditional. We are learning to cry and laugh together, celebrate and fail together, eat and rest together, and pray and play together. Fellowship is a central purpose in our lives so that we truly love God, one another and all others.
8. EXPERIENCE INSPIRING WORSHIP SERVICES: We realize that Jesus was both grace and truth, that He both laughed and cried, and that saints and sinners were drawn to Him. He was the fullness of God and friend of sinners. He met the innermost needs of both individuals and groups with refreshing acceptance and loving forgiveness. We seek to enjoy church in fun, freedom and the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Our strategy is taken from Natural Church Development. Our primary goal is to develop a healthy body of believers within a life-giving local church that will impact and bring growth to the local and global Kingdom of God!
